The Gathering holds various writing workshops throughout the year, in addition to the following monthly & yearly workshops:
Writing Your Life Story – 2nd & 4th Thursday
Join us as we gather on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month in the library at Bethany Presbyterian Church from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Through group discussions, writing exercises, and individual reflection, we will remember the stories of our lives and discover our spiritual journey.
No cost to attend, and ALL are welcome. Bring your own writing materials (paper, pen/pencil, laptop…however you like to write).

Write Christmas – every December
Write down all those holiday memories for sharing with family members … or simply for your own enjoyment.
Rev. Judy Davis leads this popular free workshop, which helps participants capture seasonal thoughts and ideas on paper, notebook, laptop … whatever you wish to use.
There is no cost to attend, and ALL are welcome. Donations of canned goods for the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet are gratefully accepted at the door.
