Join us on Thursday, Nov. 15 for our next storytelling evening. We will hear from Peter Baird on his recent travels to Guatemala to lead a music workshop entitled “Music that Inspires & Liberates” (“Música que Inspira y Libera”). This trip was sponsored by the Sacramento Presbytery, Bethany Presbyterian Church, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and The Gathering.
In Guatemala, Peter partnered with Rev. Osmundo Ponce and the Presbytery of Suchitepéquez (Presbiterio de Suchitepéquez). Hear stories about his journey and those he met along the way–there will be a lot of pictures and music to accompany the program.
A DIY-style taco dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. As with all of our events, this is FREE and will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church (5625 24th Street, Sacramento).
