Rev. Judy Davis is director of “The Gathering.” She holds a Bachelors degree in English and biology and was a teacher with both elementary and secondary students. For many years she worked as a laboratory scientist for the University of California Davis Medical Center. After receiving a Master of Divinity/MA from Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA, she began leading creative writing workshops, teaching, and serving as a spiritual director. She is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. In April 2013 she founded “The Gathering,” a Sacramento-based storytelling and creative arts based community. She lives in Sacramento with her husband with whom she has one son and two grandchildren. Judy was ordained a Presbyterian minister in 2015.
